Thanks to Al Norman/MHC…
ADVOCATES, DO THIS ONE THING BEFORE MAY 19TH:
Take one minute and sign the attached letter drafted by NCOA to support the SHINE program funding in Massachusetts, which is part of the federal SHIP budget that has been cut once already by Congress.
The President has suggested this entire health counseling program be terminated.  SHINE served 76,000 people in the Commonwealth in FY 16 with free health counseling about Medicare, Medicare Advantage, MassHealth, Heath Safety Net and other benefits.
Fill in your zip code and a few fields, and automatically send a note to SENATOR ELIZABETH WARREN AND SENATOR ED MARKEY, asking the to sign onto a Dear Colleague letter to Senators asked them to fully fund the SHIP/SHINE program.
DO THIS NOW!
